Letux Kernel

Issue 146: Upgrade to latest kernel

Reported by Nikolaus Schaller, Oct 18, 2010

We still use a 2.6.32 kernel but development is on 2.6.36.
There is more and more begleboard support available in mainstream so
that we can reduce our own patches.

A quite up-to-date source is the one from pandaboard:

http://gitorious.org/PandaBoard

Unfortunately, there are no patches for BB-XM :(

So how can we make the dream of a "universal" kernel come
to life?

I'm trying to merge the recent patches into a branch based on
linux-next and call it for-next

The latest working stream is by Neil Brown:

stable release is now based on neil-plus kernel (incl. PVS/SGX and
Camera). Only minor features of hw-validation kernel are missing and
will be added in the future.
