Issue 440: Problem with running DM3730CBP100 on MPURATE 1 GHz

Reported by Nikolaus Schaller, May 2, 2013

U-Boot initializes the MPURATE to 1 GHz.

This tries to set some clocks and busses on higher speed and makes
the GTA04 malfunction.

It diod work fine on the 2.6.32 kernel.

MPURATE itself is deprecated and has been disabled (since our U-Boot
must initialize it for those kernels that still use it):

Latest 3.7-neil+ kernel has not yet been tested on 1 GHz CPUs.

Here is a blog describing similar problems with the BeagleBoard XM:

"the last time it was safe was kernel 3.0.28 back in early
2012"

Maybe this "bug" has gone by upgrading to 3.11 and the
related OMAP3 fixes.
