Issue 481: Linear charging is no longer available in 3.11 kernel

is not available in the 3.11 kernel.  Linear charging is useful for 
strange chargers and as a workaround for other charging issues.

This may just be a matter of merging the commit that added linear 
charging to 3.7.

Yes, it is missing in the code base.

In the neil-plus kernel the patch was applied:

During rebase to 3.10/11 it was apparently lost/removed during 
conflict resolution:

So it should be as simple as to reapply (any maybe fix) the commit
