a) Display b) Charger c) Power management (?) d) WiFi Otherwise the code with patches submitted for v5.5-rc1 is working well: * boot * MMC * RTC * USB-client / ethernet gadget * touch screen * LED * lid hall sensor and power button event driver Display is a tough thing - how to add an eInk driver to the kernel. WiFi has solutions (out of tree): https://github.com/jwrdegoede/rtl8189ES_linux.git branch rtl8189fs **************** The wifi module seems not to power down the card completely. You will see that the wifi-regulator is still on, but 'rmmod 8189fs' helps **************** make KSRC=/path/to/letux-kernel CROSS_COMPILE=..... ARCH=arm

Another missing feature is a fuel gauge. As far as I did see the PMIC chip has some ADCs integrated.

I guess it has even a full-featured fuel gauge (12bit, 1s sampling). But I have the impression, that the kobokernel additionally does its own thing. I have seen current consumption tables.

Display (EPD) has code but is working on the Kobo only.
