a list of useful udev rules

It is recommended to install these udev rules:

http://git.goldelico.com/?p=gta04-rootfs.git;a=tree;f=debian/config/etc/udev/rules.d;hb=HEAD

  • charging.rules - allows to increase charging current for 1 A power supplies
  • hso.rules - map the UMTS modem tty interfaces to stable names, e.g. /dev/ttyHS_Application
  • input.rules - map the touch screen events, accelerometer events, AUX and Power button events, and the 3G incoming call events to stable file names (e.g. /dev/input/touchscreen)

This makes it easier to use static file names in config files (e.g. touch screen in xorg.conf).
