Reported by Nikolaus Schaller, Jul 28, 2013

Try to remove as much as possible from the board file and use our

Please ask/patch/submit in the same patch to revert the gta04
removal through

https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commi
t/arch/arm/tools/mach-types?id=a3c2b511a844641f6d0b60bd84cd6076143b3f
2d

This appears to be important to be visible.

Maybe we should add this patch?

https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/1133461/

Well, it can easily be done outside the kernel tree in some compile
script:

make zImage
cat ${path/to/.dtb} >>arch/arm/boot/zImage
make uImage LOADADDR=80008000

Comment 4 by Nikolaus Schaller, Apr 10, 2014

Development of a full GTA04 device tree has been almost completed
with 3.14.0.
Just minor things are missing (torch, OMAP3 ISP, Audio-DAI/McBSP
setup).
And there may be minor bugs and inconsitencies.

Issue can be closed as a fundamental one although we do not yet have
100% of DT upstream.
